Alongside the anticipation the Xbox One release was a long awaited day for Twisted Pixel. The company recognized for award-winning games, such as The Maw, Ms. Splosion Man, and The Gunstringer, jumps into the all new console generation with their new, and entertaining, release of LocoCycle.
Beginning a cross-continent escape for freedom, the rogue assassin motorcycle, I.R.I.S., is hunted by the psychopathic motorcycle, S.P.I.K.E., and a multinational weapons cartel. The only ally I.R.I.S. can rely on is her engineer, Pablo, recruited only after getting his pant leg caught in her chassis. The two face an abundance of odds, but they are riding for ‘Murica and her freedom – they can’t lose, can they?
With Twisted Pixel’s artificially intelligent motorcycles, there was already a quirky twist on this next-gen game, but that isn’t the only surprise they had to announce. This story of escape will be told through Freddy Rodriguez as Pablo, Lisa Foiles as I.R.I.S., and Robert Patrick as S.P.I.K.E. On top of the talented voice actors, LocoCycle will include an extensive amount of live-action sequences. Accompanying Rodriguez, Foiles, and Patrick onscreen is James Gunn, Tom Savini, and many others. With the long list of actors, the characters in the game are really brought to life making LocoCycle an even more interesting game to pick up.
LocoCycle is available as a digital download for $19.99 USD only on Xbox One. Keep an eye out for LocoCycle on Xbox 360 in 2014.
