The PC Version of Sleeping Dogs is Not Just a Port (+pre-order information!)
Sleeping Dogs (the game previously known as True Crime: Hong Kong) is set to be released next Tuesday, the 14th, for the PC, PS3, and 360. The PC version will not, however, be a simple port. It has a number of PC only features. Sleeping Dogs will ship with advanced graphical features as well as hardware optimizations and support for the most up to date AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. There will also be a high resolution texture pack that cranks up the detail and renders everything in the city flawlessly. Finally, performance enhancements will be available for dual and quad core PCs.
Of course, no game these days is complete without some pre-order DLC right? If you pre-order the game from Steam, players will receive 8 new Team Fortress 2 items in the “Triad Pack”. Every TF2 class gets some new items and a new Hong Kong-inspired King of the Hill map.
