ME3MAYH3M Recap
What a night!
For those of you who joined us for ME3MAYH3M on Mass Effect this past Thursday night, you know just what I’m talking about. The Structure community came alive. We had over 500 views on our Twitch.TV account within four hours…causing it to overload and crash three times. Over 65 different gamers joined us as we took back earth. A few of the people from G4tv even stopped in to smash a few Reapers and Geth along side with us. DigitalNoob.com and KonasKorner stopped by to hang out in the chat. Not to mention Craigums from Gears of War charity. And who could forget about Ike from Turtle Beach who was hosting one of the rooms.
We had 5 different lobbies running all night. Billy (Qw1kS1lv3r) had the main room streaming all night. The night was full of some pretty EPIC and unbelievable moments. We witnessed a gamer take on what seemed to be a complete wave of Reapers by himself after the others fell early on. We sit in amazement while we watched a team of two work in complete harmony as they evaded and attacked side by side to carry their team forward.
When it was all said and done a Structure Gaming had gave away 14 prizes.
- Turtle Beach T-Shirt
- 5 XtendPlay units
- 2 Structure Gaming GameHelments
- 5 1600 Microsoft Point Cards
- Turtle Beach XP500 headset
As mention in earlier articles the only way to be eligible to take home the Turtle Beach XP500’s was to “Go Gold”. Whoever came out in the end with the highest point total on the hardest setting would walk away overall winner. PartySkyBlue was that winner.
Now that it’s all said and done, I look back and couldn’t have been happier to have been there. It was a great night, great games and even better gamers. We got to meet some members of the Structure Gaming Community and make some new friends. Everything we did last night was for one reason…our readers. And none of it would have been possible if it wasn’t for Turtle Beach, GameHelmet and XtendPlay having faith and believing in Structure Gaming.
So if you enjoyed last night and had a lot of fun like we did, stick around. Who knows what Billy has up his sleeve for the next Structure Gaming Community playdate?
From all of us here at Structure Gaming to all you, Thank You.
